I never though I'd be assigned to a place like Omaha, Nebraska. I'm in the middle of the 3-4 week stay and it is an interesting place. Very calm, very clean and really pretty. Omaha, somewhere in the middle of America. Actually it sits right on the boarder of Nebraska and Iowa which are separated (not only by intelligence but) by the Missouri River. Here is a skyline (very dark) shot of downtown Omaha. Below that is a picture of the sign I pass on my way to my home away from home, Council Bluffs, Iowa. This week I'm staying in Omaha and should go out a couple times with people from work, all of which are really nice.
Omaha is a place I could see myself ending up. I just wish some musical group from the 90's would write a song about this place and include gathered water, grain, and an old man.-roll a new love over.
