So disposable income and a desire to get more exercise coupled with the urge to spend more quality time with my brother....1100.00 later and I bought a brand new Specialized Rockhopper Mountian bike. I also bought a helmet, gloves and a bike rack. Me and my brother went riding this morning at Savage Mill and worked up quite a sweat on the trails along the river.
If anyone is interested in riding please let me know as this was a lot of money to spend and I'd like to get as much usage as possible out of it.
I would really like to bike the C & O Canal which is 184 miles (give or take) from Cumberland to Georgetown. I know people who have done this and I'm not saying I'm ready at all but it's a good idea.
