So there is a church in Mt. Vernon. I don't know what denomination, I think it's a catholic church but I'm not sure. I've driven by is a million times and always think about taking it's picture. Saturday afternoon I did just that. It looks real neat and reminds me of the colors on a tarantula so I have named it spider church. To see it for yourself just drive up Charles towards the Belvedere Hotel and at the George Washington Monument roundabout my venomous hairy spider inspired place of heavenly worship is on the right.
