This weekend was all about music. On Friday night me and my Brother met Spada and Shannon at Merriweather Post Pavillion to satisfy my inner teenage rebel. The bill: Muse and My Chemical Romance. My impression of Muse is they are really talented (especially the lead singer) and are going into my playlist full time. The singer reminded me of Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and they played some songs off their recent release "Black Holes and Revelations." Some favorites are Invincible and Starlight.
Then Saturday night I saw a show in Baltimore which I can only categorize at a delight to all senses. Danity Kane, The Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera.....go ahead and make fun but I drank a big pepsi, ate nachos with cheese, salsa and jalapenos and watched really hot chicks belt out about 40 pop tunes while dancing like strippers to an audience of 10,000 14 year old girls and me.

So there is a church in Mt. Vernon. I don't know what denomination, I think it's a catholic church but I'm not sure. I've driven by is a million times and always think about taking it's picture. Saturday afternoon I did just that.
So I cannot contain my excitement. I just bought two tickets for the June 8th concert at First Mariner Area. I'm going to see Tool. If you don't know this band they at an American rock band and have one of the most intense stage shows I have ever witnessed. The last time I saw them was 1996 in D.C. with Shawn Ferry and Chris O'Neil. I grew up listening to them in the franks basement and they are unlike any band I have ever heard.
So disposable income and a desire to get more exercise coupled with the urge to spend more quality time with my brother....1100.00 later and I bought a brand new Specialized Rockhopper Mountian bike. I also bought a helmet, gloves and a bike rack.

Easter is one of those holidays I have fond memories of. As a child my father use to wake up early and hide all the eggs me, my brother and sister dyed the night before. Then with woven baskets in hand we would take to the yard in search of the illusive yolk filled treasures......Thinking back on those times always makes me smile. So I was beside myself when my family introduced my nephew to the tradition. Below are some pictures of my nephew in his first easter egg hunt....

beg chicks to talk to me.
